A position is an argument you are funding.

Borrowed conviction is not the same as the kind you sweat for. While a position is working, the difference costs you nothing. The borrowed kind gives out when it moves against you.

So you pull the filings, stitch the statements together, model the numbers, and work out what they mean.

It all takes long hours, but not all hours are the same. The ones you spend gathering filings and stitching statements together are not the ones you spend thinking about the next right move. Insider Desk takes on the gathering and the stitching. You read the record firsthand, in one place.

The public record is yours. Read it here so you can focus on your ideas.
